Nothing like following a weekend in the desert with…er….a weekend in the desert. Under the guise of a DWR 70% sale (we didn’t buy anything) we all headed out into the desert again on the weekend, this time to the town of Palm Springs. 85 degree weather had us excited about taking our first swim of the year (we did) but undoubtedly the highlight was at the other end of the weather...

A weekend in the desert
It doesn’t rain much in Southern California, but when it does it has all kinds of effects. Some of them are not so great, like aqua-planing Escalades at 110 in the left lane of the 101. Some of them are magical, like the wild flowers in the deserts that surround LA. It has been a wet winter by LA standards and the deserts have come alive. Anza-Borrego State Park, about a 3 and a half hour...
Watchthats an effen lot of candles to blow out.
